President Greta Stakely-Humphrey ET ‘73 is an East Tech graduate of ‘73’. She served two years on the High Stepper Squad and was awarded the Martha Holden
Jennings Scholarship Award. In 1977 Greta received a Bachelors of Liberal Arts Degree from Bowling Green
State University where she focused on three areas of study (Education, Psychology and Sociology). Beginning
her career with the Ohio Department of Children Services (Certified Facilitator), she served nine years as a facilitator of
a residential facility (Jones Home). In 1986, Greta moved on to the Cleveland’s Board of Education
where she held various positions servicing students and parents (Department of Transportation, Office of Attendance/CMSD Representative-Juvenile
Court and Youth Employment Services). She is currently serving the District with the Office of Student
Hearings & Appeals, CMSD District Hearing Officer where she ensures due process rights of students and conduct hearings
with students who violate the student code of conduct. In addition, she is a founding member of the BGSU Cuyahoga Black Alumni
Chapter where she served two years as the corresponding secretary and founding member and Vice President of the East Tech
Class of ‘73 Scholarship/Reunion Committee. Greta is happily married to an East Tech Alumnus, Joseph
Humphrey ET ‘66, and they have five wonderful children (Justine, Josh, Jason, Jamel and Jermaine) and three grandchildren
(Nautica, Janell and Anyia).
Vice President
David O'Neal is a graduate of East Tech Class of 1973 and is thrilled to be considered for a part of the new structuring of the East Tech
Alumni Association. He is very excited about being a vital part in this program. As Vice President of the East Tech Alumni
Association he brings to the table Experience, Knowledge, Hard Worker Attitude, Commitment, Dedication, Humility, and
a very fun loving Positive Attitude. With these Qualities and the support from all of you and the Committee Members David
plans on taking The East Tech Alumni Association to the next level of Visibility and Strength. Currently
David is the Fundraiser Co-Chairperson & Scholarship Review Team Class of 73,Vice President of the Blue Goose Skating
Club, and retired after 32yrs. with Ford Motor Co. Brookpark Ohio. David is married to his wonderful wife
Zorida O'Neal. He has two sons Ramon & Devin, two daughters Danita & Taylor and four grandchildren.
Secretary
Patrice N. Boyd was born December 15, 1961. She graduated from East Tech
in 1980. Out of 385 students Patrice ranked #39 in her class. She has two children, Christopher and Brittani'. Patrice
worked for a small accounting firm for 27yrs.
Business Manager Brenda Pope graduated from East Tech in 1973 where she was an Office Worker, participated
in Student Council, Hi-Steppers (President), Gospel Choir, and was awarded the Martha Holden Jennings Scholarship Award. etc.
She attended Bowling Green State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Brenda
continued her education where she received her Masters of Public Administration Degree (Management) from Cleveland State University.
She is a founding member and President of the ET Class of 1973 Reunion Planning Committee, Business Manager and life time
member of the ET High Alumni Association. Brenda is also a founding member and past
Vice-President, and current Secretary of the Cuyahoga County Black Alumni Association of BGSU. Her hobbies
include- Traveling, calligraphy and photography. Brenda’s favorite verse “ Through Christ all
things are possible.”
Treasurer Delores Gray graduated from East Tech in 1973. She
joined the Class of 1973 Committee in 1990 where she is currently the Treasurer and member of the Fundraising Committee. In
addition she is the Reunion Assistance Chairperson. She is very supportive of her class and enjoys every minute she has spent
representing the ET Alumni Association. She received her degree from Tri-C in 1975. Delores has one son and two grandchildren.

Webmaster Ron Mullis is a proud graduate of the East Tech Class of 1995. After graduating from Tech, Ron attended the University of
Akron and received his B.S. in Business Management in 1999 and received his MBA from Cleveland State University in 2003.
Ron is married to a fellow class of 95 graduate and they have a son and a daughter. Ron remains active in
the community. Since 1999, he has distributed book scholarships to graduating Scarabs. He is also the Scoutmaster
for Akron, Ohio Boy Scout Troop 308.
