The East Tech Alumni Association (ETAA) would like to send a big CONGRATS to our 2011 Scholarship
Recipients. With the hardwork and dedication from East Tech Alumni, Alumni Class Scholarship Bandwagon
participants, the East Tech Community, family and friends, eight (8) scholarships, ranging from $500 -
$4,000, were awarded.
The
scholarship recipients are:

Katrice - ETAA/ Community Wrap Around Scholarship: $2,000
Magen Greer - ETAA/ Attorney James Gay
Scholarship: $1,000
Magen Greer - ETAA/ ET60 Scholarship: $700
Crimson Johnson - ETAA/ ET79: $700
Angela Jackson - ETAA/ ET73: $500
Rudy Robertson
- ETAA/ ET77 Scholarship: $500
Rudy Robertson - Tri-C Matching Scholarship: $500
Ernesha Hammock - ETAA/ ET95 Scholarship: $500
These young men
and women were notified at the Senior Recognition Ceremony that was held on Thursday, May 26th at East
Tech. They continued the celebration of their academic achievements and success with alumni, class members of the Band-Wagon participants and the recipients' family
and friends at the ‘Scarabs Forever’ Scholarship Gala, which was held at the Hopkin's Airport
Sheraton Hotel on Saturday, June 18th, 2011.
The ETAA Board of Directors would like to thank the Scholarship
Committee who assisted with reading all of the scholarship packets and selecting the recipients.
The Scholarship Committee includes: Attorney James Gay (ET59),
Charles Walton (ET60), Donald Biggins (ET73), Delores Gray (ET73), Brenda Pope (ET73), Priscila Mobley (ET77), Elaine Richardson

DeAna Morgan (ET98), Julia Loeb (Cleveland Scholarship Program), Michelle Reisinger (GrafTech International), Terry Butler
(Tri-C).
The Board of Directors would also like to thank all of our 2011 Scholarship Band-Wagon Participants. The
participants includes: Class of 1960, 1973, 1977, 1979, 1995, Attorney James Gay (ET59), Community Wrap
Around, Tri-C and GrafTech International. Your commitment to OUR Alma Mater and the current students of
East Tech High School is greatly appreciated.
