The
East Tech Alumni Association would like to send a big CONGRATS to our 2009 Scholarship Recipients. With
the assistance of the 100th Anniversary Fundraising and
ETAA’s Scholarship Bandwagon, 15 scholarships,
ranging from $500 - $6,000, were
awarded.
The scholarship recipients are:

These young men and women were notified at the Senior Recognition Ceremony that
was held on Friday, June 5th at East Tech. They were invited to continue the celebration of their academic
achievements and success with all paid Alumni, class members of the Band-Wagon participants and the recipients' family
and friends at ETAA's Annual Scholarship Reception, which was held at the Mediterranean on Saturday, August 8th,
2009 beginning at 2:00pm. The East Tech Alumni Association personally thanks the Scholarship Committee who
assisted with reading all of the scholarship packets and selecting the recipients. The Scholarship Committee
includes: Clifford Murray (ET60), Benne Christian (ET72), Delores Gray (ET73), Greta Humphrey (ET73), Brenda Pope
(ET73), David O’Neal (ET73), Toni Williams (ET74), Patrice Boyd (ET80), Julia Loeb (Cleveland Scholarship Program),
Michelle Reisinger (GrafTech International) ETAA would also like to thank the classes that participated in the 2009 Scholarship
Band-Wagon, GrafTech International and Rockwell Automation. The 2009 Scholarship Band-Wagon classes includes
1956-57, 1973, 1974, 1980 and the decade of the 80’s (ET81-89). Your commitment to OUR Alma Mater
and the current
